“God Sees our Good Moves”

We can develop further our vision about God's plans and our understanding about faith by learning and being assured that God sees our good moves.

God Sees Our Good Moves!

God sees our good moves. He sees the good in us. He values us – we are his children. We are his chosen people. We have been “bought” at a very high price – by the precious blood of his only begotten Son.

God Is Still Molding Us!

Among God's creations, we are unique. We are his workmanship. However, this work is not yet finished. God is still shaping us continuously; He is molding us until we are complete.

Iam confident of this, that the one who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 1:6).

For those he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son….” (Romans 8:29).

All of us, gazing with unveiled face on the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, as from the Lord who is the Spirit.” (2 Corinthians 3:18).

We are not yet a finished and perfect product. We are still under going processing. We still have flaws; we should not be discouraged about our past mistakes and failures. God is fixing our lives until we become like mirrors reflecting God's image in us. As we age in the Lord, our faces should shine with the glory of God.

We Have Intrinsic Value to God!

To God, we have an intrinsic value. To the Lord, we have a natural and inherent value despite ourselves still being molded – despite ourselves not yet perfect.

We have no value except the natural value God gave us when He created us. This intrinsic value remains intact despite man's downfall and our sins. This inherent value even increased when we were “purchased” by Jesus' blood that washed away our sins.

God regards us as his prized possession. Our value in God's eyes does not change. We can therefore expect God to assist us, to answer our prayers, to help us fulfill our dreams. To God, our value remains the same even when we encounter disappointments and sufferings. Let us never give up dreaming, believing, and expecting to receive what we visualize and believe. Because of our intrinsic value to God, He showers us with favors and blessings.

God's Plans Are Always for Our Good!

We can always dream to our heart's desires. We can pray to God for the fulfillment of our dreams. But when our dreams do not come true [as in the story of the Olive tree, the Oak tree and the Pine tree], we must believe and accept that God may have other plans for us. God always has good plans for us. “For I know well the plans I have in mind for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare, not for woe! Plans to give you a future full of hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11)

God would like us to keep on dreaming and believing. He can do anything. His plans certainly include our dreams that will come true because they are good for us.

God Tests our Faith!

God tests our faith to find out if it is genuine or not. In Matthew 9:27-30, Jesus asked two blind men who followed him crying out for pity : “Do you believe I can do this?” After they answered “Yes, Lord”, Jesus healed them and said “Let it be done for you according to your faith.” A similar story of test of faith is written in John 5:1-9. Jesus healed a man who had been ill for 38 years.

For our dreams to be realized and for our prayers to be answered, we should welcome God's test of faith. With our genuine faith, we should be able to pass this test.

All that you ask in prayer, believe that you will receive it and it shall be yours.” (Mark 11:24 ).

We know that all things work for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28).

God “can call into being what does not exist.” (Romans 4:17). He can turn the situation from bad to good, from worst to best. Because God loves us so much, He favors us when we have faith. With our faith, nothing is impossible to be done!

Let us be reminded that nobody can have faith for us. While other people can pray and intercede for us, we have to exercise our faith – believing without hesitation that we will receive what we ask, confessing that what we believe shall be done. As people of faith, we have to continue developing a stronger and more contagious faith. Let us always pass God's test by answering “Yes, Lord, I believe!”

God Wants to Complete the Good Work in Us!

God began a good work in us and he wants it completed. (Philippians 1:6). He wants us to have a good life – a life filled with love, joy, peace, and fulfillment. This may not come easily but we are faithfully confident of its realization.

God wants us to have an enlarged vision for our life. We can dream bigger dreams. We can live in faith and raise our level of expectancy.

Our Lord also wants us to exercise our rights as children of God. We have the power of sonship. We receive favors as sons of God. We also have a fabulous banquet prepared for all of us in heaven.

We Are Highly Favored People!

Even when God is still shaping us into completion and perfection, we are already privileged to be highly favored by God.

The Bible abounds with characters who were highly favored:

•  Joseph, the Dreamer, was given “success in whatever he did” (Genesis 39:3). He was a highly favored child of God.

•  Daniel and his friends were granted favors and protection by God. (Daniel Chapters 1 and 3).

Like Joseph and Daniel, we are also highly favored by God. We are favored as children of God, as believers, as servants, and especially as The Lord's Flock Community. Let us thank the Lord for his favors. Let us continue to live favor-minded! Truly, we are highly favored people of faith!
