August 12 , 2005 Volume 1 No. 5 "Sis. Techie back from successful mission in U.S. and U.K. "
Sis. Techie Rodriguez, one of the elders of The Lord's Flock Catholic Charismatic Community, returned to Manila after a successful 40-day evangelization mission in the United States and in the United Kingdom .
Sis. Techie helped in the formation of Fil-American Lord's Flock of Sabannah, Georgia on July 9, 2005. She also conducted a Spirit Empowerment Seminar for Lord's Flock Maneses in Virginia on July 24, 2005.
At Basingstoke , United Kingdom, Sis. Techie conducted a S.E.S. for the newly formed community on July 30, 2005. She also gave a talk on July 31, 2005 at Lord's Flock London, the first chapter in England .
Earlier, on July 5-8, Sis. Techie attended the Worship Conference at the International Worship Institute in Dallas , Texas . Also in the conference were Director Froilan Hong, Sis. Lulu Perele, Bro. Butch Roxas and Sis. Agnes San Diego .
During her stay in the U.S. , Sis. Techie visited the different Lord's Flock chapters ( New Jersey , Los Angeles , San Francisco , Norfolk , etc.). She has been true to her role as shepherd and to her prophetic vision from God: “Save my people. Bring my people to safety.”
Sis. Lulu Perele's U.S. Mission Very Fruitful
Sis. Lulu Perele, one of the stewards for The Lord's Flock RENEW Ministry, made a successful five-week mission in the United States . She was accompanied by Sis Agnes San Diego of LWUA chapter.
Sis. Lulu visited Lord's Flock chapters in the United States and gave talks on different subjects. These international chapters include those in Hayward , Sacramento , Daly City , Bakersfield , and Los Angeles .
Sis. Lulu reported on her wonderful and heartwarming experience at the Worship Conference in Dallas on July 5-8, 2005.
Sis. Lulu was truly overwhelmed by the welcome and warm hospitality she received from Lord's Flock members in the U.S.A. She expressed thanksgiving to God for her unique opportunity to visit seven states in the U.S.A.
Lord's Flock Sponsors Worship Concert August 31
T he Lord's Flock Catholic Charismatic Community is sponsoring a worship concert on Wednesday, August 31, 2005 (7:00 pm) at Clamshell 2, Gen. Luna St. , Intramuros, Manila .
T he guests of the community shall include LaMar Boschman, Founder and Dean of Worship Institute, author of seven books on worship; Darrell Evans, singer, songwriter ("Trading My Sorrows"); and Bob Jorge, author of eleven books on worship. The Lord's Flock PSALM Ministry will lead the worship concert to be attended by all the leaders and members of the community.
265 th Spirit Empowerment Seminar On-Going at LF
T he Lord's Flock is ever faithful to its mission of winning souls for Christ. It is conducting its 265 th Spirit Empowerment Seminar from August 12 to 14, 2005 at the 3 rd floor, G&D Building , Q.C.
T he 264 th S.E.S. held on July 8-10, 2005 had a harvest of 70 souls; 28 attended the Maturing in the Spirit Seminar held the following weekend; 27 completed the Equipping the Saints Seminar.
Heritage Construction Reaches 4 th Floor
T he Lord's Flock Heritage Worship and Spiritual Center along Catanduanes St. in Quezon City is now on its 4 th floor (2 nd level balcony) of construction. One more floors is set to be completed this year. Earlier, the two basements, the ground floor, the first floor, and the second floor (main auditorium and mezzanine) had been completed.
I ncome from fund-raising projects such as “Pera Panalo”, “temple tributes” from Lord's Flock members in the country and abroad, as well as proceeds from sales of the community's properties are all helping provide funds for the Heritage Center . (Report by Sis. Edith Pastorfide).
“Pera Panalo” Raises Funds for Heritage Center
T rue to its objective, the “Pera Panalo” project under the chairmanship of Director Grace Lomarda of The Lord's Flock successfully raised funds for the construction of The Heritage Worship and Spiritual Formation Center in Quezon City .
T he blessed winners of the “Pera Panalo” raffle draws included the following: Bro. Arthur Hermoso – P330,000 first prize; Sis. Raquel Dimabuyo – P120,000 second prize; Marvin Sarreal – P50,000 third prize; Sis. Mariter Lagdamat – P10,000 solicitor's prize; Imelda Baguio – desk fan; Adelaine Tejana – desk fan; Jean Edora – flat iron; Sheryl Nicolas – rice cooker; Sis. LF St. Luke 's Ministry Now Fully Organized
T he Lord's Flock St. Luke's Ministry is now fully organized and operational with Sis. Marico Almazan as steward. It is providing free consultation for members of the community every Wednesday at 5:30 pm at LF Pastoral Room No. 1.
T he members of the ministry include Medical Doctors Butch Roxas, Cyrus Peralta, Gie Geronimo, Evangeline Lazaro, Nestor Domagas, Leslie Domagas, Virgie Chang, Carol Azores, Joey Agoba, Myla Andres, (Drs. Mimi, Cecille and Noemi); Dental Doctors Luvi n Bernas, Peachy Ludovice, Sarah Fajardo, and Gigie Agoba; Nurses Marico Almazan, Lorie Laureles, Eva Taasan, and Sis. Tess and Sis. Liezl; and Physical Therapists Sis Jojie Cruz, Bro. Francis Esperanzati, and Bro. Einstein Quiaoit.
A mong the projects of the Ministry are cataract surgeries for community members, free consultation every Wednesday, and “Health is wealth” lectures. (Report by Bro. Dr. Joey Agoba).
CANA Consistent with Seminars and Meetings
G rowth for its members and bonding within the CANA Household of The Lord's Flock are being faithfully practiced. Thirteen participants from CANA joined the Maturing in the Spirit Seminar on July 2, 2005. Nine participated in the Equipping the Saints Seminar on July 24, 2005. Nine new CANA members were commissioned on August 5.
O n July 24, 2005 CANA held its monthly in-gathering at The Lord's Flock Training Room with Bro. Bobby Rodriguez as speaker on “The Functioning Family”. Another in-gathering is scheduled on August 21, 2005. (Topic: Covenant of Marriage).
NET Household Offers Christian Sexuality Course
T he Lord's Flock NET Household shall conduct a Christian Sexuality Course on Sunday, August 28, 2005 (8:00 am to 6:00 pm). The speaker is Sis. Lulu Perele, one of the stewards of the RENEW Ministry.
Young Timothy Household Meets Faithfully in July
J uly 2005 turned out as a fruitful month for the Young Timothy Household. July 3, 2005 was spent in fellowship during the birthday of a member, Sis. Tobit. Talks were given by Sis. Loree Macalindong and Sis. Grace Pancho on two Sundays. An in-gathering was held on July 31, 2005 at The Lord's Flock Studio.
Brethren Household Sponsors Five Scholars
T he Lord's Flock Brethren Household has recently sponsored five scholars at the RMI Social Center for a course on Basic Secretarial Procedures with Computer Literacy. The scholarship is for tuition fees, uniforms, and books.
B rethren's forthcoming projects include “Thy Kingdom Come Seminar” and “Marketplace,” an annual gift-giving activity for selected members of the community and their families.
LF TV Media Ministry Conducts Workshops
T he TV Media Ministry under the stewardship of Sis. Rose Baclig has conducted an Editing Workshop and a Camera Workshop on August 6, 2005. A Workshop on Graphics will be given on August 20, 2005.
Caricature Contest Honors Lord's Flock Elders
A caricature contest among Lord's Flock members has been launched in honor of elders Bro. Bobby Rodriguez who celebrated his birthday on August 10, 2005 and Sis. Techie Rodriguez – on August 6, 2005. Prizes will be awarded to the three best caricatures illustrating their personal appreciation of the anointed and faithful elders.
T he project whose awarding is set on Sunday, August 14, 2005 has been initiated by Creative and Promotions Steward Ronnie Marquez and Social and Special Events Steward Gina Atayan. Entries are on exhibit at The Lord's Flock, 3 rd floor of G&D Building , Quezon City .
Lord's Flock Chapters Schedule Healing Masses
F our of The Lord's Flock local folds (chapters) shall celebrate God's mighty healing powers through eucharistic masses.
T he Holy Family (San Andres) chapter shall have its healing mass on Tuesday, August 16, 2005 (8 pm) at Zafiro Chapel with Fr. Edgar Boglosa as the healing priest.
T he LWUA chapter shall hold its healing mass on Wednesday, August 17, 2005 (12 noon – 4 pm) at the LWUA chapel with Fr. Glenn Gomez, SVD, as eucharistic celebrant and speaker on holistic healing.
F r . Glenn Gomez will also officiate the mass at the Metropolitan Trial Court chapter on Monday, August 29, 2005 (12:00 noon - 1:30 pm).
F r. Louie Niez and Sis. Tita Enriquez, Touch Ministry Steward, shall lead the healing explosion at the LF Cabuyao chapter on Saturday, September 3, 2005 (5:00 pm) at St. Polecarp's Parish Church .
L F Cainta chapter will hold its S.E.S. on Sunday, August 28, 2005 (8:00 am to 4:30 pm) at St. Joseph the Worker Chapel in Cainta.

"Lord's Flock Worship Concert with Lamar Boschman and Darrell Evans: An Awesome Success "
A s true worshippers, everyone sang, jumped, and danced to exalt and glorify God! Clamshell 2 in Intramuros was jampacked with 1,200 members of The Lord's Flock and their guests from other communities during a Worship Concert on Wednesday, August 31, 2005. Sis. Techie Rodriguez, Founding Elder of The Lord's Flock, led the praise and worship at 7:15 pm. A video about The Lord's Flock was shown. Then the LF dance ministry presented a number entitled “Yahweh”.
L aMar Boschman, Founder and Dean of Worship Institute in Dallas, Texas, and author of seven books about worship, continued with the Worship Concert. Then the jubilant and worshipful crowd joined Songwriter and Singer Darrell Evans in singing “Trading My Sorrows”[Yes Lord], “Freedom”, “My God Reigns”, and “Your Love Is Extravagant”.
T he Lord's Flock is truly blessed with the visits of worship leaders and singers like LaMar Boschman and Darrell Evans. The elders and directors are thankful to the Holy Spirit for touching Bro. LaMar and Bro. Darrell to help and support the Catholic Community.
LF Stewards Serving as SES Group Shepherds
S tewards of The Lord's Flock are serving as Group Shepherds and Facilitators for the participants of the monthly Spirit Empowerment Seminars (SES) being held at G&D Building , D. Tuazon St. , Quezon City .
G roup Shepherds are tasked with the proper welcome of the participants to the SES; helping the candidates complete the SES, the Maturing in the Spirit Seminar, the Equipping the Saints Seminar; and shepherding them until they are commissioned and committed as regular members of the Community. The Stewards serve as interim Group Shepherds until enough regular shepherds are trained for the faithful work of shepherding new flock.
LF Conducts 266 th Spirit Empowerment Seminar
M ore hearts of stone will be changed to hearts of flesh during the 266 th Spirit Empowerment Seminar being conducted by The Lord's Flock Sower Ministry on September 10-12, 2005 at the 3 rd floor, G&D Building , Quezon City .

265 th Lord's Flock SES Harvests 127 Souls
H eaven rejoiced when 127 participants of the 265 th Spirit Empowerment Seminar received
a new spirit during baptism on Sunday, August 14 , 2005 at G&D Building . Sis. Lulu Perele, RENEW Ministry Steward talked about Baptism in the Holy Spirit and administered the baptismal rites.
F orty of the SES participants completed the Community's Maturing in the Spirit Seminar held on August 20 and 21, 2005. Two others from earlier seminars join the forty members in attending the Equipping the Saints Seminar held the following four Tuesdays.

O n Saturday, August 21, 2005 The Lord's Flock conducted a Spirit Empowerment Seminar for 18 employees of Manila Hotel (and three members of their families). Among the seminar speakers were Sis. Techie Rodriquez, Sis. Lyn Nadonga, Bro. Mon Baclig, Sis. Judith Almendrala, Bro. Bert Gomez, Sis. Lulu Perele, Sis. Te Florentino, and Sis. Nol Sioson. Fr. Nolan Que, Rector of San Carlos Seminary, officiated the holy mass.
T he seminar was coordinated by Bro. Ronnie Ongteco of the Disciples of Julia and Ananias (and Touch Ministry).
LF Signs & Wonders Back on Radio Veritas 846 KHz
T he anointed program, Signs & Wonders, is now back on radio – 840 KHz, Radyo Totoo Veritas . It is aired on Mondays, 10-11 pm and on Saturdays, 9-10 pm. Anchoring the evangelization program are Sis. Techie Rodriquez, Fr. Glenn Paul Gomez SVD . Bro. Froilan Hong, and Bro. Butch Roxas.
“S igns & Wonders, Power of the Word” TV program is regularly telecast at 12:30 – 1:00 AM on Saturdays over RPN Channel 9.
Small World Household Slates Sportsfest
T he Small World Household of The Lord's Flock has scheduled its annual sportsfest on Sunday, September 25, 2005 (1:00-5:00pm) at D. Tuazon Elementary School covered court. The games shall include basketball for boys, badminton for girls, and track relays for toddlers.

O ne hundred thirty leaders and members of The Lord's Flock Holiness Ministry (Liturgy and Intercessory) joined a recollection held on Sunday, August 28, 2005 (2:00-6:00 PM) at G&D Building .

GSM Coordinates Harvest Outreaches
T he Lord's Flock Good Samaritan Ministry under the Stewardship of Sis. Peachy Ludovice and Sis. Guadalupe Gonzales coordinated outreaches for the sponsoring Harvest Formation Classes.
T he first outreach was held on August 21, 2005 at Asilo de San Vicente de Paul, U.N. Avenue, Manila . The sponsoring classes were Harvests 239-241, 253, 255.
T he second outreach on the same date was conducted at Boy's Town in Marikina City by Lord's Flock Harvest Classes 245-247-248, 246, and 256.
T he Ministry set up a Livelihood Booth on August 7, 2005 at G&D Building and on August 31, 2005 at Clamshell 2. Proceeds of the booth sales were turned over to the Community for the Heritage Center .
